Friends of the North Carolina Room, Pack Memorial Library: Become a Friend

Are you interested in local history, architecture, photographs, manuscripts, oral histories, newspapers?

Would you like to be in closer contact with the North Carolina Room–maybe even work with staff behind the scenes?

Would you like to serve as an ambassador for the collection within the community at large, letting people know about the North Carolina Room and the kinds of materials it contains?

Would you like to help support the collection? Your financial donations will help promote, care for and add to our Special Collections. Just fill out our Friends form and mail to us.

Membership

Friend’s membership dues are $15 for one year. Membership dues go directly to the Friends of the North Carolina Room. The Friends of the N.C. Room is an umbrella under the Friends of Buncombe County Libraries, Inc, which is a registered 501(c)3 organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

Just fill out our Friends form and mail to us.

Volunteers

You can help by becoming a Friend of the North Carolina Room. As a friend, you can volunteer and get behind the scenes! Volunteers are typically recruited through Friends of the North Carolina Room. Volunteers offer valuable behind-the-scenes work on special projects, such as scanning, data entry, searching newspaper microfilm, or helping with social gatherings and presentations.

We hope you will join now!
Just fill out our Friends form and mail to us, or better yet — bring it with you the next time you visit.
